TRAIN THE TRAINER PDF.jpg

Hi, I’m hansa raghav.

After working with some of the biggest corporations in the world for over 12 years of my career, getting married and having two lovely kids, I decided to change gears. The pandemic has forced me to reflect on my goals and I realized wanted to make a difference, so HLS was born. After seeing so many people lose their jobs, and suffer from the lose of loved ones, I wanted to give back.

I aim to work with non-profit organizations and people who don't have access to training or learning opportunities within these organizations, along with working with companies and startups to help individuals find the right programs to develop their leadership and communication skills ultimately excel in their career.

I feel blessed that I found my passion and it led me to opportunities to explore my career and grow. It was a wake-up call. I hope you find that my training not only teaches you something from but hopefully makes a big impact in your life and transforms the way you see things.

Growing up, I traveled frequently due to my dad's marketing job. While my friends thought it was cool that I got to live in many places, it had its challenges. I constantly had to make new friends and adapt to different schools, always playing catch-up. Moving countries every few years meant coping with continuous change.

The turning point came in 10th grade when my self-esteem was at an all-time low. I decided I would no longer live in anxiety or fear of failure. First, I stopped doubting myself. I dedicated myself fully to my studies, working extremely hard. In college, I transformed from an average performer to winning the ‘All-Rounder Award’, an honor given to one student every four years. This achievement validated my belief that hard work leads to recognition and boosted my confidence tremendously.

This experience changed my life and became my mantra: the harder I worked, the more I achieved. Today, I am certified in over 35 leadership training programs, including the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People Program. Completed my HR Management program from Cornell University. I have worked in Europe, India, and the USA with global companies for over 12 years, gaining extensive experience in leadership and communication training. I have managed teams of over 15 members and led global HR projects. Now, I leverage this expertise to help employees, managers, and organizations enhance their overall careers and achieve their full potential.

interview with jonno white

Recently, Jonno White from ww.consultclarity.org/ reached out to me to do an interview and I thought it was a great opportunity to share some of the most frequently asked questions about my business.

WOULD YOU PLEASE TELL US ABOUT YOUR BACKGROUND?

I have a Master's in Finance along with completing an HR Leadership and Management certification program from Cornell University. Hence, I have both the qualifications and training background to help provide highly impactful and productive courses and training programs. I also own a training business offering learning solutions with customizable training programs built-in for the various requirements of companies, individuals, and students to ensure that they have what it takes to do well and succeed in their careers.

WHAT TYPE OF CHALLENGES HAVE YOU FACED IN MAKING YOUR BUSINESS?

I think one of the biggest challenges I’ve faced since starting my training business has definitely been the marketing and promotion side of it. Even though the internet has made it so easy to gain access to thousands of people instantly through social media, I have always been focused on promoting it more personally.

Working with a PR or marketing company to handle promoting my training would be an easy option. But I also want to focus on getting organic leads. I want to be able to interact with my customers and potential clients directly. It's important to understand each other on a one-to-one basis to identify the problems or opportunities in training that they need assistance with. It gives them confidence and trust to actually want to work with us.

HOW DID U BECOME A LEADER IN SME? WHAT IS THAT STORY?

I think my transition actually took place after having my baby and I just wanted to take some time off from work. Then the pandemic hit, and things definitely changed. Then instead of again going back to work, my husband suggested I should start my own training business. I did have over 10 years of leadership and communication training and management experience. I have also done so many leadership training programs which have given me vast knowledge and experience that I felt I wanted to share. So, this was the right time to transition into the business world.  My other motivation for wanting to start a training company is my desire to work with nonprofits. And my vision is to partner up with them and make a difference.
