What are the Advice - Dos & Donts?

Have you experience people just trying to go out of their way to annoy you. We often times are surrounded by people who cant help but give us a lot of advice. Sometimes that’s a good thing, most of the other times, its extremely annoying. Here are some of the signs on how to deal with the dos and dont's of giving or getting advice :D Here are some highlights from the video. Click on the below pic to see the video.

1) ASKING TOO MANY QUESTIONS

When someone is sharing their problems or issues, its very important you check on their comfort zone if they want you to actually have an opinion.

2) PERSONAL QUESTIONS

I am a firm believer that if you ask personal questions, make sure it is someone you know really well and wont mind you asking. Its very tricky how you ask these questions, as it can cross a line.

3)DRAW THE LINE

Don’t let anyone make you say or do anything that you dont want to do. Its always good to maintain boundaries and when it comes to giving advice, you need to be selective and choose the things that you feel like sharing but not for the sake of it.

4) SET CLEAR BOUNDARIES

Always set boundaries, share what makes you happy and focus on things that matter.
